I’m Mel, the Tauranga born-and-bred founder of CLAY with a deceptively competitive attitude to see every person I work with get their own financial milestones. That's me in a nutshell.
I have been in the banking industry since way back when, holding numerous senior roles with some of the major players in Auckland and locally. I know the banking industry, how it works (including a lot of the 'BS' that comes with it), demystifying the jargon and how to mould it to work best for everyone, no matter your plans or goals. But knowing the industry is one thing; understanding what our clients are after is another - here at Clay our genuine care and compassion for people is our real superpower.

Michele aka ‘Moo’ is new to mortgage advising but has always been involved with and loved finances, having spent the last 10yrs working within the Toyota Finance Team.

Our brand-new member of the CLAY team, Amanaki comes to us following an extensive career in Sevens rugby, with an Olympic silver medal in the trophy cabinet!
Amanaki decided to qualify as a mortgage advisor after going through the home-buying process himself, in the hopes of helping others navigate the mortgage process with confidence and ease.
